About the CMR University

CMR University (CMRU) is a private university in the state of Karnataka, established and governed by the CMR University Act-2013. CMR University aims to promote and undertake the advancement of university education in technical, health, management, life sciences and other allied sectors of higher and professional education.

We believe that creativity is the key competence required to excel in our complex world where independent thinkers, product leaders, artists, designers and innovators are the need of the hour. Our students learn creative concepts and design thinking regardless of their area of study. CMR University fosters creative communities where new ideas can be nurtured, new discoveries made and new creations shared.

Overview of the Webinar

Writing academic papers might be a hard task to do when the vocabulary one possesses is considered to be not enough.

The difference between an essay and RP is: an essay normally comprises the knowledge and perception of a person and their own supporting/opposing arguments. While a research paper also includes personal interpretation of arguments, it normally is based on works of different authors (articles, books and other papers) and the work’s author’s role is reduced to evaluation and synthesis of such sources.

In this webinar, you will learn

  • Types and basic structure of research articles.
  • Ground work (pre-Draft)
  • Manuscript – Drafting
  • Tools for plotting graph
  • Preparing a quality figure
  • Post-Draft
