Each block reflects architectural precision and modern efficiency. Both blocks are interconnected, offering a fluid learning environment elevated with smart boards, RO water facilities, elevators, and a ramp for students.

Block A

The New Academic Block A houses creativity, innovation, and inspiration within its multi-level design:

  • Ground Floor: An open, vibrant space housing Amphitheatre, Innovation Hub, and Teachers Resource Centre to promote interaction, mentoring, and idea exchange.
  • First Floor: Eight well-ventilated classrooms designed for interactive and flexible learning.
  • Second Floor: Six classrooms and two AV Halls equipped with advanced audio-visual systems for presentations and guest lectures.
  • Third Floor: Eight classrooms structured for high engagement and collaborative sessions.
  • Fourth Floor: Six classrooms along with a dedicated Director’s Room with Pod, reflecting CMRU’s leadership and administrative focus.

Block B

Home to the management disciplines (MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA), this block mirrors the strength of modern education. The interior architecture combines functionality with modern, minimalist, and inspiring – making it one of the most advanced academic facilities on campus.
  • Ground Floor: Seven classrooms designed to promote interaction and clarity.
  • First Floor: Six classrooms and a dedicated Tech Management (TMBA) Room, a learning space that integrates technology and business acumen.
  • Second Floor: Two classrooms, two computer labs, a staff room, a discussion room, and a mini-library that fosters academic and professional growth.
  • Third Floor: Seven classrooms designed for collaborative learning experiences.
  • Fourth Floor: Seven classrooms that complete the academic loop with consistency and connection across all levels.

School of
Architecture

The School of Architecture (SOA) at CMR Lakeside Campus, blends creativity with structure — where ideas rise as gracefully as the buildings they imagine. Open layouts, bright corridors, and collaborative spaces inspire both problem-solving and discipline. Here, every sketch, model, and concept transforms into vision and possibility.

Entrance

A gateway that signals creativity in motion and sets a tone for innovation. It frames the journey ahead, guiding students into studios where focus in classrooms alongside creativity in exhibition halls coexist.

Board Room

A refined space where vision meets dialogue, the boardroom hosts design reviews, academic discussions, and leadership meetings. With tech-driven interiors and acoustic precision, it sets the stage for focused conversations and bold ideas.

HOD Room

The HOD Room serves as the school’s nerve centre, representing the balance between direction and dialogue. It’s a space where guidance shapes into strategy, and strategy into execution.

Classroom

Each classroom at SOA nurtures clarity and exploration beyond traditional lectures, encouraging design thinking roots. Flexible layouts, ambient lighting, and joint seating arrangements help students to think visually, question intuitively, and build ideas into reality.

Exhibition

The exhibition spaces showcase the heart of architectural learning — imagination built into form. These curated displays of models, drawings, and design projects mirror the evolution of ideas, transforming lessons into visual dialogues between innovation and aesthetics.

School of Design

The School of Design thrives on experimentation. It is a pivot where ideas are where curiosity drives invention, and every idea is translated into form and function. It’s an ecosystem that empowers thinkers to build, test, and refine, shaping designers ready to lead with imagination and relevance.

Computer Lab

The Computer Lab transforms imagination into execution. Outfitted with high-end design software, 3D modelling tools, and digital fabrication programs, helping students bridge concepts with clarity. Each click, render, and simulation turns abstract thought into visible innovation.
