Prof. Dr Dileep Kumar M. is a distinguished academic administrator, global educator and institutional strategist with over 25 years of international experience spanning higher education governance, executive teaching, multidisciplinary research, and corporate consultancy. He currently serves as the Pro Vice Chancellor of CMR University in Bengaluru, India, where he drives strategic growth, academic innovation, and institutional excellence. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to transforming higher education systems, bridging corporate development with community impact, and cultivating future-ready leaders worldwide.
His executive leadership portfolio spans high-profile global appointments across diverse higher education landscapes. Dr. Dileep has served as the Founding Vice Chancellor of Hensard University, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Nile University of Nigeria, Director of Research, UM6P Morocco, and Pro Vice Chancellor of GNS University in India. Additionally, Dr. Dileep has led international academic programmes and institutional initiatives as the Director of the DBA programme for UNIES in the Netherlands and directed strategic organisational initiatives as Head of the Leadership, Innovation, and Change Competency Centre at OYAGSB, Universiti Utara Malaysia.
Qualified through the UGC-NET, Dr. Dileep holds an exceptionally broad, multidisciplinary academic foundation. His academic qualifications include a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Human Resource Management and a Ph.D. in Organisational Behaviour, complemented by an M.Phil., a Master of Arts in HR, and a Master of Social Work (MSW–HRM). His credentials are further reinforced by postgraduate diplomas spanning business administration (PGDBA), human resource management (PGDHRM), computer applications (PGDCA), health administration (DHA), and labour laws (DLL).
A prolific scholar and innovator, Dr. Dileep has made extensive contributions to business management literature and intellectual property. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed journal articles, 35 books including impactful titles such as Glue of Organisational Culture and Say No to Precarious Working Conditions, 3 monographs, 80 management case studies, 35 book chapters, and more than 100 conference papers. Demonstrating a strong commitment to research and innovation, he holds 20 granted patents, 7 patent publications and 28 registered copyrights, while actively serving on the editorial boards of numerous high-impact international journals.
Over a 29-year global career, Dr. Dileep has mentored academics, researchers and senior corporate leaders across more than 25 countries and delivered over 230 keynote addresses at international platforms. His transformative contributions to research, corporate development, and academia have been recognised with prestigious honours, including the Global Academic Icon Award, Outstanding Leadership Award, Man of Excellence Award, Academic Excellence Award, and Excellence in Research Award.
