Scope and Objective

The B.B.A., LL.B. course is an integrated double degree that combines a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management with a Bachelor’s degree in Law.
In this programme, students study various management-related concepts such as Business Communication, Principles of Management, Management Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and HRM, along with law-related subjects such as Constitutional Law, Labour Law, and Family Law.

Each academic year is divided into two semesters. While each semester lasts for 18 weeks, the duration of the course shall be five academic years consisting of 10 semesters.

The curriculum for the B.B.A., LL.B. course goes beyond conventional learning methods to ensure that students also gain real-world experience. The university has invested in state-of-the-art infrastructure centred on a well-equipped library with ample print as well as online resources. Programme Assessment

Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS): The university follows CBCS, which allows students to choose courses and earn credits based on their performance.

Grades and GPA: Students are awarded grades for each course in a semester, and their Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) is calculated to measure academic performance. Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is used to evaluate overall performance across semesters.

Prescribed Curriculum: Each programme has a prescribed curriculum or Scheme of Teaching and Evaluation, which includes required courses, laboratories, and degree requirements. It also incorporates SWAYAM and MOOCs from reputed institutions.

Auditing Courses: Students may audit courses to gain additional exposure without the pressure of grading, giving them an advantage in placements.

Evaluation System: Evaluation is continuous and comprehensive throughout the semester. It consists of Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Semester End Examination (SEE), each with 50% weightage.

Assessment Methods: Faculty may use assignments, seminars, quizzes, group discussions, case studies, practicals, presentations, and reports.

Semester End Examination: Conducted for all registered courses unless the course has a Continuous Internal Evaluation scheme only.

Makeup Examinations: Students who fail in SEE can retake exams through makeup examinations.
