Programme Assessment

  • Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS): Allows students to choose courses and earn credits based on performance.
  • Grades and GPA: Students receive grades for each course, with SGPA calculated per semester and CGPA across semesters.
  • Prescribed Curriculum: Structured as per the university’s Scheme of Teaching and Evaluation. Includes SWAYAM and MOOCs from reputed institutions.
  • Auditing Courses: Option to audit courses for additional exposure without grade pressure.
  • Evaluation System: Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Semester End Examination (SEE) each carry 50% weightage.
  • Assessment Methods: May include assignments, seminars, quizzes, group discussions, case studies, practicals, presentations, and industry reports.
  • Semester End Examination: Conducted at the end of each semester for all courses, unless exempted by full internal assessment.
  • Makeup Examinations: Opportunities offered to failed students in SEE courses, allowing them to improve their grades.
