Programme Assessment

  • Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS): Enables flexibility in course selection and credit earning.
  • Grades and GPA: SGPA and CGPA are used to evaluate academic performance per semester and cumulatively.
  • Prescribed Curriculum: Includes mandatory courses, skill development modules, labs, and MOOCs like SWAYAM.
  • Auditing Courses: Students may opt to audit subjects for exposure without grade impact.
  • Evaluation System: Balanced structure of Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Semester End Examination (SEE), each carrying 50% weightage.
  • Assessment Methods: May include assignments, case studies, practical tasks, presentations, and seminars.
  • Semester End Examination: Mandatory for most courses unless waived by continuous assessment.
  • Makeup Examinations: Offered for courses not cleared in SEE to improve academic standing.
