Choosing what truly works for you
At the end of the day, it’s about your needs and goals. If an IIT is your dream, you qualify, and you can handle the responsibility that comes with being an IITian, it makes sense to pursue it. But if a smaller college with a great campus culture or a course you really like calls out to you, do your research and consider it seriously. College is what you make of it, not the other way around. Having the IIT brand on your résumé might bring social prestige, but it doesn’t automatically guarantee being the best at work or the smartest in the room.
