Admissions Open: Earn Credits Before Your Degree Even Begins

CMR University’s Accelerated Credit Course Programme (ACCP) 2026 is now open for registrations, a free, fully online initiative designed to give higher secondary students a meaningful academic head start across disciplines.

Most students spend their first semester adjusting to the pace, expectations, and shift from school to university learning. ACCP changes that timeline. It enables students to begin their undergraduate journey already exposed, already skilled, and already ahead.

What ACCP offers?

ACCP is open to higher secondary students from CMR/Ekya Schools across disciplines and boards. It allows students to explore subjects beyond their current stream while earning a recognised online certification, even before their degree actually begins.

In 2026, the programme offers 13 courses across multiple schools, covering vast spheres of technology, design, architecture, management, finance, law, science, and liberal studies. Students can register for up to 2 courses based on their preferences.

Each course is designed to introduce practical, real-life learning that transcends theoretical concepts and applies them. Whether it is exploring AI, understanding financial analytics, building design fundamentals, or developing communication and analytical skills, ACCP empowers students with early exposure to how disciplines function in real settings.

How the programme works

The programme runs for 15 hours over three weeks, conducted online from Monday to Friday (3:30 PM – 4:30 PM).

Students who complete the course with a minimum of 85% attendance and 50% in assessments will receive a certificate. Those who subsequently enrol in an undergraduate programme at CMR University will also earn academic credits, up to 2 credits across two courses, applied in later semesters.

This ensures that students learn early and progress faster within their degree.

Why it matters

When students move from higher secondary education into their undergraduate journey, one gap remains consistent: the lack of practical exposure to how disciplines function in the real world. Because theory is introduced early and application often comes much later, students get limited clarity on how their chosen field translates into real-world applications. ACCP addresses this gap quite early.

It gives students the opportunity to:

  • Explore disciplines beyond their academic stream
  • Build practical, industry-relevant skills
  • Make well-informed, career-driven decisions

Above all, it allows them to begin their undergraduate journey with confidence, clarity, and a substantial academic advantage.
